This is
my first attempt on Photo reviewing a figure so please bear with me :) I
have always been a toy collector/enthusiast since I was little and just
recently Hot Toys 1/6 scale caught my attention. I find bloggers who
post final products for Hot Toys very creative as I enjoy looking at it,
they bring drama and life to the figures and I thought I wanted to do
that too, just for fun and learning.
So
here it is, my first photo review, I did not go much into details in
this one as I am only trying which lighting set up would be best. I did
a 3 light set up. 1 rim lighting, 1 key and fill on both sides. I
combined it with light painting just to light up dark areas and to bring
life to the figure's eyes. I used black cloth as a background, I have
yet to find a black acrylic sheet for my base so that the figures feet
will give a slight reflection. This set was shot with a 15 sec shutter
speed, f16 aperture, and 100 ISO. Minimal editing was done, the photos
in lightroom was a bit light but when I exported it, it seem to have
gone darker so I did not tweak it so much, just crop and highlights
adjustment.
